Institutional Compliance with Title IX
Moody is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and God-honoring environment, in all aspects of its Education Programs and Activities, free from unlawful sex discrimination. To demonstrate our love for God (Deut. 6:4-5), our love for people as unique image-bearers of God (Genesis 1:26-27; Luke 10:27-28), and our commitment to the Holy Scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16-17), as well as to fulfill our obligations under any applicable federal, state, and local civil rights laws and regulations, Moody has developed policies and procedures that ensure a prompt, fair, and impartial process for those involved in an allegation of Prohibited Conduct as defined in Moody's Title IX policy. The core purpose of this the Title IX Office is the prohibition of all forms of Sex Discrimination, Sex-Based Harassment, Sexual Assault, Dating Violence, Domestic Violence, Sexual Exploitation and Stalking and to provide a safe environment in which those who have been the target of or who witness such conduct can make a report without fear of Retaliation.
This Policy applies to all members of the Moody community—students, faculty, administrators, and staff; and vendors, contractors, and third parties who visit Moody’s campus with respect to all conduct in any academic, educational, extra-curricular, athletic, or other Moody program or activity (collectively, “Moody programs and activities”) on the Moody campus and Moody programs and activities occurring off-campus, including Moody programs and activities outside the United States. This Policy also applies to persons conducting business with or visiting Moody. Accordingly, Moody may investigate all Title IX Complaints regardless of where the alleged conduct occurs.
In accordance with Title IX, the president of Moody Bible Institute has designated the following Title IX team members as the primary contacts responsible for coordinating compliance with Title IX.

Roles and Responsibilites
Director/Title IX Coordinator
The Director/Title IX Coordinator is Moody’s point of contact for anyone who is need of support due to an incident of sexual harassment or sexual violence.
Additionally, the Director/Title IX Coordinator is responsible for implementing and monitoring Title IX compliance on behalf of Moody Bible Institute. This includes coordination of training, education, communications, and administration of the complaint and resolution procedures for the handling of suspected or alleged violations of Title IX/Moody’s Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Response Policy.
Deputy Title IX Coordinator
The Deputy Title IX Coordinator serves as the primary investigator on the Formal Complaint Resolution Procedures and is responsible to maintain consistent care of the party members and witnesses, clear communication, and consistent documentation throughout the course of the investigation.
Additionally, the Deputy Title IX Coordinator is responsible to assist the Director/ Title IX Coordinator with the development and implementation of campus training and education, awareness events, and prevention programs.
